West Ham are 70-1 to win the Premier League after leapfrogging Liverpool into third place following their 3-2 win over the Reds at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma followed an own goal from Liverpool keeper Alisson to give the east Londoners the victory with strikes from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Divock Origi coming in vain for the Anfield outfit.

The Hammers are 13-2 to secure a top-four finish, with Jurgen Klopp's men 1-16 to finish in the Champions League places.

Liverpool are 4-1 to win the league behind 5-6 favourites Manchester City, while leaders Chelsea are 5-2 shots.

Earlier on Sunday, Aston Villa started their search for a new manager after sacking Dean Smith following their fifth successive Premier League defeat at Southampton on Friday.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has been installed as 6-4 favourite for the post with Paddy Power and has already been linked with the vacancy.

However, reports also suggest the Midlands club could be interested in Kasper Hjulmund who led Denmark to the semi-finals of Euro 2020.

Smith became the fifth top-flight manager to lose his job this season after Daniel Farke was sacked by Norwich on Saturday, shortly after the Canaries gained their first win of the season at Brentford.

Former Chelsea and Derby manager Frank Lampard is 8-11 to be appointed as his replacement with Bournemouth boss Scott Parker regarded as the ex-England midfielder’s nearest market rival.

Arsenal moved up to fifth in the table with a 1-0 win over Watford.

Emile Smith Rowe scored the winning goal after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had seen his first-half penalty saved by Ben Foster.

The Hornets are two points above the bottom three and Leeds moved a point ahead of them as they claimed a 1-1 home draw with Leicester.

Tottenham had to be content with a goalless draw at Everton in their first league game under new boss Antonio Conte.

Spurs have not scored in their last three Premier League games, failed to register a shot on target and have netted just nine times in their 11 matches.
