Team news
Norwich
Billy Gilmour could return to the line-up after being ineligible to face parent club Chelsea, while Przemyslaw Placheta and Todd Cantwell could also make their comebacks. Ben Gibson will miss out following his red card at Stamford Bridge.
Leeds
Raphinha has overcome the ankle injury that forced him off against Wolves, while Junior Firpo has recovered from a muscle strain, although Patrick Bamford and Luke Ayling both remain on the treatment table.
Match preview
Basement boys Norwich have taken just two points from their opening nine Premier League fixtures and they produced arguably their worst display of the season when going down 7-0 to Chelsea last weekend.
Things are unlikely to be that bad when Leeds visit Carrow Road but it could be another game where the strugglers are beaten without scoring.
The stats do not make good reading for Daniel Farke's side. They have failed to win any of their last 19 top-flight games, while their total of two goals from their opening nine matches has equalled the record for the lowest tally scored at this stage of an English league season.
The Canaries will take heart from back-to-back goalless draws against Burnley and Brighton before their Stamford Bridge humiliation, but they have now gone five games without a goal in all competitions.
Leeds's start to the season has also been difficult. Marcelo Bielsa's side have won only once in their nine league games and murmurings of second-season syndrome are sweeping around Elland Road.
The Whites will take comfort from last weekend's late show against Wolves, when Rodrigo's successful penalty in second-half stoppage time salvaged a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Talisman Raphinha picked up an ankle injury in that game, but the three-goal winger has been declared fit for the trip to Carrow Road - a huge boost to Leeds's hopes.
Leeds will also take heart from their most recent trip to Norfolk, which ended in a 3-0 Championship success in August 2018 and is one of two wins the West Yorkshire club have claimed on their last three visits to Norwich.
Leeds have kept only one clean sheet in the league this season, although that did come in their sole victory against another of last season's promoted sides in Watford.
Both of Norwich's goals in the league have come from Teemu Pukki -the last Canaries player other than the Finn to score a top-flight goal was Emi Buendia in July 2020.
One crumb of comfort for Norwich is that they have won four of their previous six Premier League encounters with Leeds, although this will be the first top-flight meeting between the two sides since 1994.
Key stat
Norwich's tally of two goals is the joint-lowest scored by a team after nine games of an English league season.
