Norwich and Brentford both have that sinking feeling and that’s only likely to grow among the Bees contingent if they suffer a sixth straight away loss.

The Londoners have gone eight games without a win and last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle leaves them just three points outside the relegation zone.

The only positive from that defeat was Christian Eriksen’s return but the Dane's presence will do little to improve a defence who have conceded two or more goals in eight of the last nine games and allowed 71 shots in the last four.

Rock-bottom Norwich have lost their last three Premier League engagements but two of those defeats were to Liverpool and Manchester City, and they are worth siding with having been playing well before the losses.

The Canaries, who won the reverse fixture at Brentford, have shown more attacking intent under former Bees boss Dean Smith. They have scored just 15 goals all season but six of those came in the three games prior to that losing run.
