Team news
Man Utd
Donny van de Beek, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot are injured while Jack Butland cannot face his parent club. Marcel Sabitzer could make his debut after signing on loan on deadline day from Bayern Munich.
Crystal Palace
Joachim Anderson, James McArthur and Wilfried Zaha are sidelined.
Match preview
Manchester United contest the EFL Cup final against Newcastle later this month but their priority is to nail down a top-four finish in the Premier League and they can take another step forward by defeating Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils dropped to fourth after losing 3-2 at Arsenal, but they resume league duties with a spring in their step after three successive cup wins.
There has been a price to pay for knockout progress with Christian Eriksen facing a three-month layoff, but United swiftly addressed the issue with the loan signing of Marcel Sabitzer and appear well-stocked for the rest of the campaign.
Palace were active in the final days of the transfer window, signing midfielder Naouirou Ahamada from Stuttgart and clinching a loan deal for Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
However, their problems against United could arise in the penalty boxes. Influential pair Joachim Anderson and Wilfried Zaha are both out and their absences may help United to register another home victory and a clean sheet.
