Liverpool shortest odds ever in Premier League era to win at Old Trafford

Liverpool are the shortest price they have ever been to win at Old Trafford in the Premier League era and former England international Chris Waddle expects a routine win for the Reds.

Racing Post columnist Waddle said: "Liverpool should win comfortably. They didn't play great at Sheffield United but does Ole Gunnar Solskjaer know his best team at United right now?

"They have the ability in that squad but they are out of form and low on confidence. I cannot see Jurgen Klopp's men failing to get a result in Manchester."

Liverpool, 4-6 title favourites, are no bigger than 14-19 to take the spoils while the Red Devils are a best-priced 9-2 to win at home. The draw is 3-1 with most firms.

The United game marks the start of a busy couple of months for Klopp's men, who host Tottenham afterwards before facing Aston Villa, Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Brighton next month. Paddy Power offer 9-2 about them winning all of their matches in November.

Manchester City are aiming to narrow the gap at the top of the Premier League when they travel to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace and the Citizens are 1-4 for victory and 7-5 with RedZone for a third successive league title.

The Eagles, currently sixth in the standings, are 2-1 to achieve a top-half finish and 16-1 to break into the top six this season.

This month's El Clasico encounter between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been postponed due to fears of civil unrest.

The La Liga clash was due to take place on 26 October but has been delayed after protests in Barcelona following the jailing of nine Catalan separatist leaders.

The two sides both refused to switch the game to Madrid and must agree a new date for the fixture by Monday.
