Team news

Leicester
Caglar Soyuncu and James Maddison face late fitness tests. James Justin, Jonny Evans, Ricardo Pereira and Ryan Bertrand are all expected to be missing for the Foxes.

Newcastle
Alexander Isak remains out with a hamstring injury, while Emil Krafth and Paul Dummett are also sidelined.

Match preview

Newcastle were the surprise package in the first portion of the Premier League season but Leicester were also enjoying a resurgence before the hiatus and the teams could be tough to separate at the King Power Stadium.

These two clubs went into the World Cup break as the two in-form teams in the Premier League with Newcastle having won each of their last five games and Leicester winning four of their last five league assignments.

The pair have also marked their returns to domestic action with cup triumphs as Leicester swatted aside MK Dons 3-0 and Newcastle edged Bournemouth 1-0 and they are also set to lock horns in the EFL Cup quarter-finals in January.

Both sides have goals in them with James Maddison and Miguel Almiron in top form before the break and both teams to score could be the best betting angle in what should be a gripping encounter.
