Match preview

Brighton and Leicester have had contrasting fortunes since returning to action after the World Cup.

Leicester have lost all four of their Premier League games since the resumption whereas Brighton have won four of their last five games in all competitions, scoring 17 goals in the process.

A 3-0 win over Liverpool last time out was the highlight of the Seagulls' run of success but Roberto de Zerbi's side have been impressive throughout and are rightfully in contention for European qualification.

The same cannot be said of Leicester, who now have only a slender two-point buffer to the bottom three. No Premier League team has lost as many games as the Foxes' 12 this season and Brendan Rodgers will hope that the signing of Danish defender Victor Kristiansen can steady the ship.

One thing that looks certain at the King Power Stadium on Saturday is goals. Brighton’s last eight Premier League matches have all featured at least three strikes while Leicester are the top scorers in the bottom half.
