Match preview

Neither Fulham nor West Brom have won a Premier League game this season but with both desperate not to lose this contest, a stalemate could be on the cards at Craven Cottage.

Both meetings between these sides in the Championship last term finished as draws - 0-0 and 1-1 - and the Baggies have already shared the spoils with Chelsea, Burnley and Brighton this season.

Fulham have lost five of their opening six league games this term but they have shown signs of improvement. They won the shot count 16-14 and saw 65 per cent possession against Crystal Palace last time out after a draw with Sheffield United in which they were five minutes away from a first win of the season.

The Cottagers look to have tightened up at the back and with loanee defender Joachim Andersen potentially in contention, they should be able to limit the away side's opportunities.

Key stat

These sides drew 29 Championship matches between them last campaign.
