Match preview
Leeds were involved in a goalless draw for the first time since October 2019 when taking a point at home to Arsenal last Sunday. But they are among the most exciting teams in the Premier League and could be involved in a high-scoring encounter at Everton.
Four of Leeds's last five away games have featured at least three goals, including the 4-3 loss to Liverpool on their last visit to Merseyside.
Marcelo Bielsa's side did everything in their power to defeat the Gunners, who were reduced to ten men after Nicolas Pepe's red card, but were denied three times by the woodwork and might have lost had Buyako Saka made the most of a slick counter-attack.
Leeds will continue to press high but their strategy could leave them exposed against a high quality Everton attack featuring Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti switched to a back three for last Sunday's trip to Fulham and the Toffees won 3-2.
However, it was far from a perfect performance from Ancelotti's side, who have conceded at least two goals in each of the last six league games.
Playing with wing-backs seemed to suit Lucas Digne, who supplied assists for two of Everton's goals, but the Frenchman suffered an ankle injury in training this week and is sidelined for two months.
Ancelotti must make another enforced change to his leaky defence and Leeds will fancy their chances of exploiting the gaps.
Bielsa's men lack a killer instinct at times but centre-forward Patrick Bamford has been clinical, scoring seven goals.
Six of those have come in away games, so there may be value in backing the 27-year-old to get on the scoresheet.
Key stat
Four of Leeds's last five away games have featured at least three goals.
