Team news

Crystal Palace
Eberechi Eze could return to the squad after recovering from a serious Achilles tendon injury but Nathan Ferguson is still out.

Wolves
Marcal remains a doubt so Rayan Ait-Nouri could continue at left wing-back. Jonny, Pedro Neto, Hugo Bueno and Yerson Mosquera are sidelined.

Match preview

Crystal Palace and Wolves scored just 77 goals in 76 Premier League matches between them last season but the clubs are playing with far more attacking intent under new managers Patrick Vieira and Bruno Lage.

An entertaining clash looks likely at Selhurst Park given that Palace claimed an excellent 2-0 win at champions Manchester City and Wolves have won five of their last seven league matches.

Both teams scored in each of their last three victories against Newcastle, Aston Villa and, on Monday, Everton while Palace's last seven games before the win at City featured five score draws, a 3-0 home win over Tottenham and a 3-0 defeat at Liverpool.

Last season's three meetings in the league and FA Cup produced only four goals but Palace have made a bright start to the season under Vieira and Wolves should also be confident after picking up ten points from their last four away games.

Key stat

Wolves have won three of their last four games by 2-1, 3-2 and 2-1 scorelines.
