Match preview
West Ham have won five successive matches for the first time since 2012 but their hot streak could be brought to an end by Crystal Palace, who look overpriced to defeat the Hammers at Selhurst Park.
David Moyes has done a superb job in his second spell in the West Ham dugout, transforming the club from relegation candidates to European qualification hopefuls.
The Irons' perfect start to 2021 has included hard-fought league wins away to Everton (1-0) and at home to Burnley (1-0) and West Brom (2-1), and they have a massive incentive against Palace because three points would lift them above champions Liverpool and into the top four.
However, dreams of a first Champions League campaign are a long way from becoming reality and the Eagles have won two and drawn two of the last four meetings between the teams.
Palace have slipped to 13th after failing to build on a fast start to the season but they are closer to the top six (nine points adrift) than the relegation zone (11 points clear).
A victory over West Ham would have Palace looking up the table rather than over their shoulders and their chances are increased by the return to fitness of talisman Wilfried Zaha, who was absent for their last game, a 4-0 league loss at Manchester City.
Zaha is on course for the most productive season of his career, having contributed eight league goals and two assists, and his match-winning qualities could hurt the Hammers, who may taste defeat for the first time in over five weeks.
Key stat
Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their last four matches against West Ham.
