Crystal Palace v Brighton Bet Builder preview

Both teams to score

Despite the tension of this fixture, both teams have scored in seven of their last eight meetings and another open contest looks likely.

The Eagles and the Seagulls both have confident attacking players in their ranks but neither side looks rock-solid at the back so there should be opportunities at both ends.

More goals in second half

Last season's Premier League clashes between these sides both featured injury-time goals and four of the last five meetings have had more goals in the second half than the first.

That bet has also copped in both of Brighton's away league games this term as they scored in the 73rd and 78th minutes at Burnley and the 90th at Brentford.

Crystal Palace to be shown more cards

Brighton's possession-based football means they tend to draw more fouls than they commit and in five of their seven league and cup games this season their opponents have picked up more cards than the Seagulls.

Palace have generally been well-behaved this term although they have received ten yellow cards in their last four home games and may be frustrated by their in-form rivals.
