Chelsea
Summer signing Marc Cucurella could replace the suspended Kalidou Koulibaly at the back, while Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Armando Broja and Marcos Alonso are all ruled out.

Leicester

A sloppy Chelsea were humbled at Elland Road last weekend but Thomas Tuchel’s side have more than enough quality to bounce back against a lacklustre Leicester side, although they may not have it all their own way at Stamford Bridge.

Previously so solid at the back, Chelsea’s defence has capitulated this year and they head into this tie with just four clean sheets in their last 14 Premier League games, three of which came away from home.

They have conceded 14 goals in their last seven home league games and are without the suspended Kalidou Koulibaly on Saturday, further decreasing their chances of shutting out a Leicester side who have scored five goals in three top-flight games this season.

Despite their respectable attacking output, Brendan Rodgers’ side remain winless and have shipped eight goals in three league games.

They may get on the scoresheet at Stamford Bridge but a positive result against Tuchel’s wounded Blues could be a step too far.
