Match preview
Brighton dented both Tottenham's and Arsenal's top-four hopes in the last couple of weeks, but the Seagulls' home form has flown under the radar.
Graham Potter's side have failed to score in their last five Premier League home games which is tempering end-of-season optimism, but it is difficult to see Southampton taking advantage on Sunday.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl was seen muttering to himself as he left the pitch following their 2-0 defeat at Burnley on Thursday and that was the ninth time in 11 away games that his side have conceded at least two goals.
A 1-0 success against the Gunners has been Southampton's only win in their last seven and this looks a game that may struggle to generate goals.
The endeavour should be there from both teams as they strive to emerge from their slumps as the season heads to its conclusion, but there is a strong chance they will cancel each other out.
Key stat
Brighton have scored only six goals in their last 13 Premier League home games.
