Team news
Bournemouth
Joe Rothwell, Ryan Fredericks, David Brooks and Ben Pearson are out. Lloyd Kelly and Junior Stanislas are doubts and Dominic Solanke is pushing for a start up front.
Wolves
Chiquinho (knee) is a long-term absentee and Willy Boly is unlikely to feature after failing to turn up for Sunday's fixture against Newcastle.
Match preview
Less than a month after Bournemouth marked their return to the Premier League with a 2-0 home win over Aston Villa, manager Scott Parker has been sacked after his side lost 4-0 away to Manchester City, 3-0 at home to Arsenal and, most damagingly, 9-0 at Liverpool.
The Cherries' defenders, under interim manager Gary O'Neil, should get some respite against a Wolves side who have scored only 40 goals in 42 league matches under Bruno Lage.
However, Wanderers gave Tottenham a good game in their last away fixture, going down 1-0 in north London, and they were on the verge of a first win of the season at home to Newcastle on Sunday before Allan Saint-Maximin's spectacular late equaliser for the Magpies.
Wolves are unlikely to cut loose on the south coast but their midfield and attacking options look a class above Bournemouth's and they can grind out a victory against a home side reeling from last weekend's record-equalling rout at Anfield and the departure of their promotion-winning manager.
