Match preview
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the Gunners must win their final five Premier League games to have any chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League but the first of those fixtures, at home to Leicester, looks a tricky test.
The Gunners' campaign appeared to be petering out after they resumed their season with disappointing defeats to Manchester City and Brighton.
However, those losses were followed by league wins over Southampton (2-0) and Norwich (4-0) and an FA Cup quarter-final victory at Sheffield United.
And Arsenal stretched their winning streak to four games as goals from Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette gave them an impressive 2-0 triumph at in-form Wolves on Saturday.
That result left them six points behind fifth-placed Manchester United so it will take something special for them to make the Champions League, especially as they face Leicester, Tottenham and Liverpool in their next three games.
Arsenal have still drawn more league matches than they have won this season and the stalemate looks the best bet when they take on a Foxes side who have faltered since the turn of the year.
Their 3-0 home win over Crystal Palace at the weekend featured Jamie Vardy's 100th and 101st top-flight goals but, more significantly, it was Leicester's first win since the restart.
The Foxes remain third in the table but they cannot afford many more slip-ups on the run-in given the fine form of United, Chelsea and Wolves.
Leicester have caused Arsenal problems in recent meetings, winning three of their last four games against the Gunners, but they have failed to register a victory in nine games against the Premier League's top six this term.
The seventh-placed Gunners have kept clean sheets in three league games since Arteta switched to a back three following the defensive disasters against Manchester City and Brighton.
Leicester remain a dangerous side but they have lost some of their attacking spark, finding the net only three times in their last five away matches, and key playmaker James Maddison is an injury doubt.
Leicester's Vardy and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the leading scorers in the Premier League this season with 40 goals between them.
Despite their presence, a tense contest looks likely and the draw is a tempting price at the Emirates.
Key stat
Arsenal have drawn 13 Premier League games this season – more than any other team.
