Match preview
Arsenal's top-four aspirations suffered a major blow with a 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday but they are still level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham with a game in hand and can get back on track with victory at home to Brighton.
Palace's superior desire was clear to see at Selhurst Park but the defeat should serve as a wake-up call for Arsenal, who have otherwise been in good form.
The Gunners have still won six of their last eight Premier League matches and if they are to concede fourth place to improving rivals Tottenham, it will likely be as a result of how they perform in tougher games to come.
Visitors Brighton, meanwhile, have looked hopeless recently, failing to score in more than 300 minutes of Premier League football and losing six of their last seven matches. Further misery may await them at the Emirates on Saturday.
Key stat
Brighton have lost five of their last seven games without scoring.
