Arsenal were made to fight to claim a 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday, but it was enough to maintain their 100 per cent record and they should be confident of extending that run against Aston Villa.

The Midlands outfit won 3-0 at an empty Emirates two years ago, but their recent record there is poor and there has been little to suggest they can turn that around.

A solitary win over Everton is little to write home about and the fact they lost against Bournemouth shows how much work Steven Gerrard has to do.
