Norwich should finish off season in style
Canaries to send their fans home chirpy
Final day
Midday Sunday
There is still plenty up for grabs on the final day of the regular Sky Bet Football League season, with the Championship title to be decided as well as the last remaining relegation spot in a tight dogfight down at the bottom.
Brighton, who were 1-40 to win the Sky Bet Championship title before successive defeats against Norwich and Bristol City, get a third chance to seal the deal at Aston Villa.
Albion are 4-5 to be crowned champions but second-placed Newcastle, two points back with a better goal difference, can leapfrog the leaders should Brighton fail to claim victory.
Newcastle are short-priced favourites to beat Barnsley at home and 11-10 to grab the title.
Wigan and Rotherham are already down and one of Blackburn, Nottingham Forest or Birmingham will join them in the third tier.
Rovers head to Brentford and Forest welcome Ipswich with the strugglers locked together on 48 points and Blackburn's goal difference only one worse. If they both win then Birmingham will also need a victory at Bristol City to survive.
Blackburn can be backed at 8-15 to be demoted, Forest are 3-1 and Harry Redknapp's City are available at 5-1.
Barring a mathematical miracle (Leeds need to make up three points and a 14-goal difference on Fulham) the four playoff teams are all settled but they will be jostling for positions. Reading, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield and Fulham make up the quartet.
Despite sitting sixth, Fulham are 2-1 favourites to gain promotion with third-placed Reading the rank outsiders at 5-1.
Good bets are hard to find in the final round of matches but Norwich should be safe enough for those desperate for a punt when QPR make the trip to Carrow Road.
Rangers had lost six on the spin prior to last week's 2-0 success over Forest whereas the Canaries are flying at the finish with three victories in five. Norwich have also won seven of their last 11 home games in the Championship.
A much-needed player clearance will take place in the summer but they have the basis for a strong squad and young attacking players Alex Pritchard and Josh Murphy are capable of making bigger impacts.
A good atmosphere seems certain as the locals say a fond farewell to keeper John Ruddy and the Canaries can be sent home in a chirpy mood with a bright future under new highly-rated sporting director Stuart Webber.
