Motherwell can keep leaders Celtic in their sights

Don't expect champions to run away with victory

Motherwell v Celtic
Ladbrokes Premiership, Sky Football, 2.15pm Sunday

Motherwell are worth a punt on the handicap against a Celtic side who practically wrapped up the Ladbrokes Premiership title last week.

The Bhoys' win with ten men against Rangers at Ibrox surely ended any notion of a battle for the league crown and there's a chance Celtic could take their foot off the gas.

Motherwell blow hot and cold and have lacked any real consistency since a purple patch in autumn, but on their day they can give anyone a game.

The Hoops should have enough about them to get the victory, but they usually get a tough test at Fir Park.

Recommendation
Motherwell +2 on handicap

Raith v East Fife

Ladbrokes League One, BBC Alba, 4.10pm Sunday

East Fife can claim a least a draw in the Fife derby against an out-of-sorts Raith.

The Methil men have picked up recently with three wins in a row in Ladbrokes League One.

In contrast, Barry Smith's side have come unstuck at a crucial moment in their duel with Ayr for the title and a midweek loss at Forfar would suggest the wheels have somewhat come off for the Kirkcaldy side.

Fife have a dreadful record against their neighbours, but they are playing with some degree of confidence now and can get something at a nervy Stark's Park.

Recommendation
East Fife or draw double chance
