Tuesday's betting preview

League One strugglers Cambridge have failed to score in their last three matches but they can deliver a low-scoring success at home to National League North opponents Curzon Ashton in their FA Cup first round replay.

Cambridge are three levels above Curzon Ashton in the football pyramid but failed to make their quality count in a drab 0-0 draw at Tameside Stadium, where they were restricted to just four shots on target.

United manager Mark Bonner will expect his players to perform better at the Abbey Stadium, but progress may have to be hard earned against a well-organised Curzon Ashton, who have kept clean sheets in four of their last six matches.

However, Cambridge improved at the weekend, drawing 0-0 at home to League promotion hopefuls Bolton, and should advance at the second attempt.

Goals could be more free-flowing when League Two Hartlepool take on National League Solihull Moors in their replay at Victoria Park.

There was very little to choose between the teams in an exciting 2-2 draw at Damson Park ten days ago, and a similarly entertaining contest is in store in the north-east with both teams likely to get on the scoresheet.
