Team news

Young Boys
Roger Assale is a doubt. Mo Camara, Miralem Sulejmani and Vincent Sierro are out.

Rangers
Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo remain sidelined for Steven Gerrard’s men.

Match preview

Young Boys have looked pretty much unbeatable at the Stade de Suisse, where they haven’t lost a competitive match since last October.

They drew with Valencia and beat Juventus on home soil in last season’s Champions League and were crowned Swiss champions for a second successive season by a country mile.

This season they are unbeaten in nine league games, drew twice with Red Star in the Champions League (going out on away goals) and had no luck whatsoever in their 2-1 loss at Group G heavyweights Porto two weeks ago.

The Gers are on a five-match winning run that looks in danger in this contest.

Key stat

Young Boys are unbeaten in 20 home matches.
