With a world ranking of 109, Australian John Senden finds himself as one of the highest-rated players at the Barbasol Championship and he should make a good impression.
The Brisbane native has two US Tour victories to his name and the fact so many of the game’s leading lights are in Scotland for the Open should help him to a decent finish.
He missed the cut at the Barracuda Championship in his last event a fortnight ago, but the Stableford scoring system is not everybody’s cup of tea and he had finished 11th at the Memorial and 29th at the Quicken Loans National in his previous two events.
