Celtic's 4-1 loss at home to Sparta Prague three weeks ago was probably the low point of their season but they are not quite out of the running for Europa League knockout stage qualification and can stay in the hunt by winning in the Czech capital.
The Bhoys responded to their hammering against Sparta by winning 4-1 at Motherwell, and they showed plenty of spirit at the weekend, coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Hibernian.
Neil Lennon remains under pressure but his team are unlikely to be as poor as they were on matchday three and an improved performance could deliver maximum points against injury-hit Sparta, who are going through a difficult spell.
Vaclav Kotel's side have suffered successive league defeats, including a 4-2 loss at home to strugglers Ceske Budejovice on Sunday.
They have shipped 15 goals in their last five games and poor defending could open the door for Celtic to pick up a precious victory.
