Betting preview

Group F supremacy is hanging in the balance with three of the quartet still in with a shot, but Midtjylland can do their part and secure a top-two finish with victory at Ludogorets.

With the section’s two leading lights – Braga and Red Star Belgrade – squaring up in Portugal, Midtjylland would leapfrog one of that pair into a qualification place with maximum points.

A victory for Midtjylland and a draw in Braga would see the Danish league leaders replace Red Star at the summit, courtesy of a superior head-to-head record.

However, Bo Henriksen’s men must focus on their own matters first and they look worthy odds-on shots to prevail in Razgrad.

Ludogorets are already out having drawn one and lost four of their five group fixtures, so manager Stanislav Genchev may make tactical tweaks with stretching their lead at the top of the Bulgarian top-flight the main priority.

Their only point did come thanks to a 1-1 draw at Midtjylland in September. But that was way back on matchday one and they lost the shot count 14 to two, equalising with their only effort on goal.

The Wolves have won their last two Europa League assignments away at Red Star and at home to Braga and should find this task even easier.

There is an intriguing clash taking place between Lazio and Galatasaray in Group E, and a victory for the Italian hosts will be enough to send them above the Turkish team.

However, anything but a win for Lazio in the Italian capital would see Gala reign supreme, and Fatih Terim’s men may be able to pick up the positive result they desire.

The Super Lig outfit are yet to taste defeat in Europe from five attempts, with one of their three group victories coming in the form of a deserved 1-0 win over the Eagles in Istanbul.

Gala have kept clean sheets on their two Europa League away trips at Marseille and Lokomotiv Moscow and can stand firm against a Lazio side who have won only five of their last 13 matches in all competitions.
