Match previews
The USA's two best shots at glory in Counter Strike:Global Offensive's ESL Pro-League kick off their campaigns on Thursday and both are short prices to prevail in their opening contests.
FaZe Clan and the renowned Team Liquid are both available at 10-1 in the outright market and are 1-14 and 2-9 to see off Tyloo and Made in Brazil (MiBr) respectively.
MiBr are a team to watch though. The premier South American outfit have joined the ESL Pro League's North American division and are juggling their season with the inaugural Flashpoint campaign - a competition offering a prize pool of $1 million.
Their equal focus on Flashpoint - they played in group finals day on Tuesday - means they are unlikely to have enough in their locker to inflict a shock defeat on Team Liquid but recent performances suggest they can win a map.
In December's ESL Pro League ten, MiBr beat FaZe Clan and pushed a strong Fnatic side close in a 2-1 defeat and that could be the scoreline worth backing when they face Team Liquid.
While FaZe Clan should make light work of Tyloo, 100 Thieves should see off Swole Patrol without reply in the group game at 5pm.
Swole Patrol failed to post a single win in season ten of the Pro League, while Thieves are fresh from a run to the quarter-finals of IEM Kotowice 2020 in which they narrowly lost both rounds 19-16 to Fnatic. They should be a cut above their opponents this time around.
