Thursday's betting preview

Slavia Prague and Feyenoord could not be separated in a six-goal thriller in the opening leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final in Rotterdam and it should be more of the same in the Czech capital.

These two sides will be getting sick of the sight of each other, having also squared-up in the group stages, but they are certainly gaining plenty of love from the neutrals.

Last week’s 3-3 draw in Holland came on the back of a 2-2 stalemate in Prague in November, while Feyenoord had Slavia’s measure at their Rotterdam home two months earlier in a 2-1 win.

That all points to another gripping encounter between the pair, with both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looking the best bet at 5-6.

Both teams have scored in each of Slavia’s last seven games in this competition and they won 7-5 on aggregate against LASK Linz in the last 16 after previously overcoming Fenerbahce 6-4 over two legs.

Feyenoord won 8-3 on aggregate against Partizan Belgrade at the round-of-16 stage, and they too have seen the net bulge at both ends in their last eight European encounters.

The goals are also expected to flow when Atalanta and Leipzig renew their rivalry in Bergamo.

The opening leg at the Red Bull Arena ended in a 1-1 draw but there were stacks of chances - 34 shots in total - and these teams would be considered two of Europe’s great entertainers.

Atalanta were 3-2 winners at home to Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the previous round, while it is worth remembering that Leipzig netted three goals in defeat at Manchester City and two in a loss at Paris St-Germain in the Champions League group stage.
