This is a big week for Baggies boss Steve Bruce, who still struggles to get a tune out of his underperforming side.

Albion were fancied last season and again this season, yet nothing is happening for West Brom and they can ill afford to lose more ground on the top teams.

And that means beating Birmingham because next up on Saturday are Norwich away, who will be a stern challenge.

Bruce's boys aren't losing many, they just aren't winning them either, a tally of six draws in eight games means they are losing ground every week.

Birmingham will be no pushovers. Their last two matches have seen them lose painfully in added time against Norwich before winning at Preston, who concede to no one.

West Brom are short enough against a Blues side who will put bodies on the line and goals could be lacking at the Hawthorns.
