Team news

Watford
Mario Gaspar, Tom Cleverley and Jeremy Ngakia are sidelined but Tom Dele-Bashiru returned from a long-term layoff to feature in last Saturday's 3-1 loss at Blackpool.

Norwich
Adam Idah, Jacob Sorensen and Isaac Hayden are still unavailable.

Match preview

Norwich have had mixed fortunes since the international break, taking four points from three games, but they can enhance their promotion hopes by beating Watford at Vicarage Road.

All Championship clubs are having issues with consistency but second-placed Norwich hold a share of top spot with leaders Sheffield United and third-placed QPR.

The Canaries have won seven of their last ten league fixtures and haven't lost an away game since a 2-1 reverse at Hull in August.

While Norwich are getting to grips with second-tier football, Watford have not improved since replacing Rob Edwards with Slaven Bilic in the dugout.

After taking the job Bilic spoke warmly about the players he was inheriting, but he was soon handed a reality check by back-to-back reverses.

Watford were lucky to escape with a 3-1 defeat from last Saturday's trip to Blackpool and their losing run looks set to continue.

Key stat

Watford have won just two of their last 11 matches
