USA could press their advantage at Ally Pally
Confidence should be high after dominant finish to first day
Day two
Sky Sports Action & Mix, 6.30pm
Europe made the perfect start to their Mosconi Cup defence at the Ally Pally last night, but the USA ended the opening session on top and are worth backing to press the advantage this evening.
The European team squeaked home in the opening team rubber before Albin Ouschan and Jayson Shaw predictably made work of Billy Thorpe and Skyler Woodward.
But after Mosconi debutant Tyler Styer got the Americans on the board by upsetting Niels Feijen in the first singles match the US dominated the rest of the evening.
Confidence is key in a sport where you have to take the chances when they're offered and if the USA make a strong start tonight they could stretch their legs.
Europe are still 8-13 favourites to retain the cup, but the raiding party look value at even-money to claim the second session.
Recommendation
USA to win session two
