Bolton v Lincoln City

Bolton continue to sizzle in League One – as short as 16-1 for promotion having been available at 200-1 six weeks ago – and can expect to be clipped again after squaring up to Lincoln City.

The latest trim to their promotion odds came on Saturday after a consummate 4-0 dismantling of Wimbledon, a seventh win in nine which has seen them roar to within reasonable distance of the playoffs.

They've won their last five at home by a 16-1 aggregate and while Lincoln have had plenty of time to prepare for this – they had a free Saturday thanks to the weather – that's also allowed them more time to wallow in the misery of their last outing, a grim 1-0 loss at home to Doncaster.

Centre-back Joe Walsh was sent off in that defeat so is suspended.

Ipswich v Cheltenham

Backing a side three days after they shipped five goals might sound risky but Cheltenham are well worth siding with at Ipswich in League One.

Michael Duff's men were involved in a remarkable affair at Wycombe at the weekend, taking an early lead, going 3-1 and 5-3 down, but snatching a point as Alfie May completed a four-timer.

When the dust settled, Cheltenham have to look on that as a good point, especially as they have now lost just one of their last nine games – and that was at league-leaders Rotherham.

Good enough in that period to take points off Oxford, Wigan and Sunderland, they'll have few fears going to improvers Ipswich, who are plenty short enough.

Crewe v Oxford

Oxford United became the first team in tier three to go through the 60-goal barrier on Saturday with a romp at The Valley and can continue their free-scoring fireworks at lowly Crewe.

Since losing 2-0 at Wycombe five weeks ago the U's have hit the afterburners, scoring 20 times in just seven outings. The most recent was a 4-0 win at Charlton where Matt Taylor grabbed a brace to go to 16 for the campaign.

Crewe have lost six in a row and look ever so vulnerable against a side as relentless going forward as Karl Robinson's men.
