Derby v QPR

Sky Sports red button, 3pm Monday

Derby are playing catch-up in their push for the Sky Bet Championship playoffs but the visit of QPR should enable them to claim three massive points and boost their goal difference.

Sixth-placed Middlesbrough, seventh-placed Bristol City and eighth-placed Derby all have a goal difference of plus nine. With three points between them and the Robins and County having a game in hand, the margin of victory may be important.

First-choice defenders Toni Leistner, Grant Hall, Angel Rangel and Jake Bidwell are set to miss out for Rangers which should give Derby all the encouragement they need.

Recommendation
Derby -0.75 on Asian handicap

Sky Bet Championship standings

Aston Villa v Millwall

Sky Sports red button, 1pm Monday

Aston Villa equalled their club record with a ninth straight victory on Friday and they should be able to make it a perfect ten when Millwall visit.

Villa are looking a real force heading into the Championship playoffs and they possess genuine class in midfield where John McGinn and Jack Grealish are operating below their natural level.

Dean Smith's side are understandably short odds to beat a Millwall side battling against relegation, but the Lions are spirited and with Villa top scorer Tammy Abraham unlikely to be fit because of a shoulder injury, the hosts may have to settle for a modest triumph.

Recommendation
Aston Villa to win & under 4.5 goals
