Preston have drawn five of eight Championship fixtures this season and could be involved in another tight affair against rivals Burnley at Deepdale.

In a remarkable start to the season North End kept seven consecutive league clean sheets until a 1-0 loss at home to Birmingham ten days ago.

Ryan Lowe's charges are getting things right at the back but they have struggled in attack, scoring just twice, and will need to improve if they are to lay down a top six challenge.

Burnley are aiming higher, with automatic promotion in their sights, but they were pegged back in their last game – conceding an injury-time goal in a 1-1 draw at West Brom – and may be dragged into another close contest by Preston, who look solid enough to secure a share of the points.
