Match preview

Luton manager Nathan Jones believes four more points will be sufficient to secure a place in the Championship playoffs but his injury-hit Hatters may struggle to get the better of mid-table Blackpool at Kenilworth Road.

Fourth-placed Luton have performed way above expectations but they rode their luck to win 1-0 at Cardiff on Monday and the three points came at a heavy cost with goalkeeper James Shea (knee), right-back James Bree (ankle) and winger Fred Onyedinma (groin) failing to finish the game.

Luton's squad was already stretched with Jordan Clark, Luke Berry, Cameron Jerome, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, Gabriel Osho and Glen Rea on the absentee list, although centre-back Sonny Bradley has completed a one-game ban.

However, the Hatters will be far from full-strength and that should encourage Blackpool, who can follow up Monday's 6-1 thrashing of Birmingham by banking at least a point in Bedfordshire.

Key stat

Blackpool have scored in nine of their last ten away games.
