The EFL playoffs start on Monday with two Championship semi-finals and the Racing Post Sport experts have all the angles covered in the battle for promotion.

Bournemouth face Brentford at Dean Court before Barnsley and Swansea battle it out at Oakwell, with a Premier League place the reward for whichever team triumphs at Wembley on May 29.

The League One and League Two playoffs start with a semi-final each on Tuesday evening with the other two semi-finals to be played later in the week.

Our picks are:

Brentford to win the Championship playoffs

Oxford to win the League One playoffs

Newport to win the League Two playoffs

The treble pays over 30-1 with Paddy Power.

Championship

Brentford won 87 points and finished closer to second-placed Watford than they did to playoff rivals Swansea, Barnsley and Bournemouth, who registered tallies of 80, 78 and 77. The Bees could be set to finally end their playoff hoodoo.

League One

Oxford started slowly but go into the playoffs as the top scorers of the four contenders having scored at least three times in six of their last seven. That's the kind of firepower which takes teams to promotion.

League Two

Newport had the third-best defensive record in League Two, conceding just 42 goals, and they lost only four of their 12 meetings with fellow top-seven sides - two of which came against runners-up Cambridge.
