Don't stop being a Fleetwood backer

For a ninth successive season, it took more than 100 points to land the handicap honours last season with Fleetwood, off 24 with a couple of firms, and Sheffield United, off scratch, both reaching three figures.

That Fleetwood managed it shows what is possible off a generous mark, though it is enormously doubtful whether clubs such as Oldham, Walsall, Gillingham and Shrewsbury can reach 70 points and more in the actual table to be in with a shout of handicap glory.

Fleetwood, on the other hand, could well be contenders once again.
