Match preview

New manager David Wagner led Norwich to a 4-0 victory at Preston last Saturday, but the Canaries have not registered back-to-back wins since September and may have to settle for a point against mid-table Coventry at the CBS Arena.

Wagner put his stamp on the Norwich team by making five changes for the trip to Deepdale and he could not have asked for a better outcome.

The Canaries played with more positivity and intensity than they have for several weeks and were 3-0 up inside 28 minutes with the considerable help of attacking midfielder Kieran Dowell, who scored twice on his first start since October.

However, Wagner's side may struggle to make a fast start against Coventry, who are unbeaten in seven Championship home games.

Coventry are dealing with a few injuries but they gave an excellent account of themselves in last Saturday's 1-0 loss at leaders Burnley and they can collect a point against the Canaries.

Key stat

Coventry have drawn three of their last four home league fixtures
