Norwich have been a breath of fresh air in the Sky Bet Championship this season and they can edge closer to automatic promotion by defeating QPR at Carrow Road.

Plenty of teams are feeling the pressure of the run-in but Norwich are handling it superbly and should not fear the Londoners, who are under the stewardship of caretaker-manager John Eustace following the departure of Steve McClaren on Monday.

The Canaries are on a seven-match winning streak and are red-hot favourites to dispatch QPR and open up an eight-point gap to second-placed Leeds.

A lot is made of the physical demands of Championship football but Norwich's players seem to be gaining in strength and are making the job easy for head coach Daniel Farke, who has sent out the same starting line-up for the last seven matches.

Farke's side had to grind out a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough last Saturday but have been free-flowing more often than not and are the division's top scorers with 78 goals.

Playing an offensive style comes with risks attached, but Norwich outscore the opposition more often than not because they possess an array of potent attacking options.

Finnish centre-forward Teemu Pukki tops the bill with 24 goals in 36 league appearances but five of his team-mates have chipped in with at least six goals.

Farke's men have scored in each of their last 20 league games and should not have many problems accounting for a QPR side perched 16 places and 37 points below them.

McClaren was sacked after QPR won just one of their last 15 league games, although plenty of good work was done earlier in the season and the threat of relegation is remote with the Hoops stationed eight points above the bottom three.

A new voice in the dugout may bring a response from the players and it would not be a major surprise if QPR add to their 46-goal tally.

However, Norwich have developed a knack of winning high-scoring matches and that is likely to continue.
