Championship leaders Fulham were at their free-scoring best when winning 5-1 at Swansea on Tuesday but they had to grind out 1-0 victories on their previous two road trips to Hull and Cardiff and might have to work hard for the points at improving Barnsley.

Survival remains a long shot for Barnsley, who are five points below fourth-bottom Reading, but they have been delivering better performances.

Poya Asbaghi's side have collected ten points from their last six matches and haven't conceded more than twice since a 3-0 reverse at Nottingham Forest in January.

Asbaghi might hope for a moment of magic from talented Metz loanee Amine Bassi, who has provided two goals and two assists in the last three matches.

However, Fulham can win games in many different ways and they should get over the line in a low-scoring encounter.
