Talented Jungels may have his eyes on Vuelta lead

Yves Lampaert outfoxed the sprinters to win stage two and take the leader's jersey of the Vuelta a Espana on Sunday, bet he is long odds to be in red by the end of stage three.

The first real mountain test of the race awaits the peloton as they take in three countries from Prades in France to Andorra la Vella.

It's a stage that is likely to be played out by those harbouring hopes of a general classification bid, including the talented Bob Jungels.

The young Luxembourg national champion may not have the ability to contend over three weeks at this stage in his career, but his performances at the Giro d'Italia, where he has worn the leader's jersey in each of the last two years, have marked Jungels as a star of the future.

Much in the mould of Tom Dumoulin, Jungels is a strong time-triallist who is also able to climb and could have his eyes on a first red jersey.
