Maurice Hooker versus Jose Carlos Ramirez has been promoted under the tagline 'All or Nothing', which isn't quite true, but it is a fascinating fight between two undefeated world champions and it is almost a pick 'em in the betting to unify both titles.

Unusually for boxing, the situation at the top of the super-lightweight division is remarkably straightforward. WBC champ Ramirez takes on WBO belt holder Hooker in Texas on Saturday with the other two unbeaten champions, Scotland's Josh Taylor (IBF) and Regis Prograis (WBA), set to meet in the final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament in October.

That would, in theory, clear the path for an undisputed champion in the near future and a true all-or-nothing fight.

Hooker and Ramirez are both available to back at around evens, and convincing arguments can be made for both. Texan Hooker is the 'home' fighter with the fight taking place in Arlington, but that may not translate to much of an advantage as there is a huge Hispanic community in Texas who will get behind Californian Ramirez, and he is used to travelling as a professional and an amateur.

That experience could prove key. Ramirez represented the USA in the 2012 Olympics and has the better pedigree. He has great stamina and is a pressure fighter - which often goes down well with judges.

Hooker has good footwork and a big reach advantage, and will give everything to come out on top. He won his title by travelling to Manchester and becoming the first man to beat Terry Flanagan via split decision last summer.

Odds of 1-4 for the fight to go the distance suggests there won't be a knockout, and it it likely to be close with both fighters previously having several tight decisions on their records.

But Ramirez may have a bit too much class and looks a decent bet to win on the scorecards.
