Jockey Club Racecourses have revealed that Phil White will replace Rupert Trevelyan as the group's London regional director.

White has been general manager at Sandown since April 2015 and will remain based at the track while also overseeing Epsom and Kempton. Prior to his current role at Sandown, he had also been general manager at Kempton, taking up that position after Amy Starkey's move to Newmarket.

He will replace Trevelyan, whose departure was announced in mid-June after more than seven years spent with Jockey Club Racecourses, beginning with his appointment as managing director at Epsom.
