'He should be hard to beat and 4-1 looks fair' - top advice from our expert panel
Are you with or against Galopin Des Champs in the Irish Gold Cup?
Phill Anderson, tipster It's hard to oppose him, particularly in a seven-runner field with no each-way angle. I'm a big fan of Stattler but I think he's going to come into his own over even further and while Fury Road is an improving horse, I doubt he's improving at a quick enough rate to worry Galopin Des Champs this time.
Lee Jones, Betfred It's hard to look past Galopin Des Champs and I wouldn't really be in a rush to lay him at 1-3 with the only main danger being Stattler, who most probably needs more of a stamina test.
Steven Powell, commentator It's very hard to be against Galopin Des Champs, although I do think that Stattler will be more suited by this trip and track, after running over 2m6f at Tramore on New Year's Day, and may give him a run for his money here.
