Constitution Hill is set to grab the headlines at Ascot on Saturday, as the star novice hurdler returns to action, but he will not be the only Grade 1 winner from last season's Cheltenham Festival present with Edwardstone and L'Homme Presse also set to feature.

Alan King is taking a leaf out of champion trainer Paul Nicholls’ book by declaring Edwardstone under top weight for the Jim Barry Wines Hurst Park Handicap Chase, an appearance that could rule him out of competing in the Grade 1 Betfair Tingle Creek at Sandown next month.

Edwardstone runs in the 2m contest at the weekend after the eight-year-old was withdrawn from the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham last Sunday due to the good going. His absence contributed to Nube Negra going off as 1-10 favourite for the Grade 2 in which he cantered to an effortless eight-length success.
