Three runners to note tonight at Chelmsford

It has been an afternoon of jumps action in Britain and Ireland, but fear not Flat fans, there is a seven-race card at Chelmsford to keep you entertained. Here are three runners who could make a splash.
Vegas Boy (5.45)
Has the handicapper been too harsh, or is a 13lb rise justified for Vegas Boy? We will know more after the Jamie Osborne-trained colt attempts to follow up his course-and-distance success from last time.
It was a first win for Vegas Boy, and he did it by five lengths, which is why the handicapper has reacted accordingly. More will no doubt be needed, but Vegas Boy has drawn stall one which is a plus.
Photographer (6.45)
A Derby entry suggests Photographer is well-regarded, and his pedigree backs that up. The colt can count 2010 Irish Derby runner-up Midas Touch, and the classy Coronet among his relatives.
Trainer John Gosden is running plenty of juveniles at present, and they are generally performing well.
Middle Kingdom (7.15)
Not sighted since the Craven meeting, Middle Kingdom has only managed two starts in his career so far, but is unbeaten.
He fetched 775,000 guineas as a yearling and is undoubtedly talented, as the form of his last win back in April has worked out well. He is still very exciting and could prove to be more than a handicapper in time.
