'Owners won't be treated with contempt' - ROA fires warning to racecourses

The Racehorse Owners Association has welcomed the easing of racecourse restrictions for owners but warned tracks need to do more to prevent "a crisis turning into a catastrophe".

More owners will be able to attend meetings in England and Scotland from Tuesday when dining options will be increased and arrival restrictions eased, the BHA announced this week.

While the limit on owners will increase from two per horse, they will continue to be restricted to designated zones to help maintain social distancing.
