Admirable 11-year-old Confessional came full circle on a bright autumn afternoon when winning his 11th race on his 132nd start in the 6f handicap.

It was the month after Mon Mome's 100-1 victory in the 2009 Grand National that Confessional made his debut in a two-year-old maiden at this course.

More than nine years later – and with his legendary status at Tim Easterby's stable long since established – the veteran sprinter carved out another popular victory in the hands of Rob Hornby.
