Nigel Twiston-Davies has had plenty of bigger winners at his local track, but days do not come much more satisfying than Saturday when Cogry, Foxtail Hill and Callett Mad combined for a 139-1 treble.

What made it all the more pleasing is that the first two were horses involved in much less happy events on the course last season.

Cogry, who won the 3m1f handicap chase, was the horse who hospitalised young Ryan Hatch with injuries from which he has yet to return when brought down at the November meeting.
