Progressive Alpha Delphini continuing the Tangerine dream
Alpha Delphini made a successful transition to Listed company in the Beverley Bullet
In 2010, Tangerine Trees shot through the handicap ranks for Bryan Smart and the following year he won the Beverley Bullet and the Group 1 Prix de l'Abbaye.
His half-brother Alpha Delphini was just a foal then. Yesterday, that gelding followed his highly decorated half-sibling on to the Bullet's roll of honour, the neck he beat Willytheconqueror being the biggest margin between the first four in a thrilling finish to Beverley's big race of the year.
