Trainer Jonjo O'Neill was left one shy of a landmark 2,000 British jumps victories after scoring with Adam Du Breteau, one of three runners he fielded on the card.

After Aidan Coleman had struck on the Gay Smith-owned chaser, the record could have been reached in the same colours had Princess Tiana followed suit in the finale, but the 7-2 favourite could muster only sixth behind the impressive Perfect Poison.
